Every child deserves a healthy start. By addressing malnutrition, we can save lives and make vaccines more effective, building stronger, healthier communities.
Founded in 2018 by Rotarians passionate about service, TMSG focuses on combating malnutrition to improve health outcomes and empower communities. Our interventions are tailored to reach the most vulnerable populations—children under five, pregnant women, and lactating mothers. “Malnutrition weakens immunity, reducing vaccine effectiveness and leaving children vulnerable to diseases like polio. By addressing malnutrition, we strengthen vaccination efforts and improve health outcomes.

Rotary’s global fight against polio is one of humanity’s greatest success stories. Polio has been wiped out from nearly every country — except two: Pakistan and Afghanistan. In 2024, every single polio case in the world came from Pakistan — 78 children. Shockingly, 12 of them were fully vaccinated. How is that possible? Because malnutrition weakens a child’s immunity. Vaccines, including polio drops, rely on a healthy body to work. Where malnutrition thrives, so does polio — even in vaccinated children. If we want a polio-free world, we must first tackle malnutrition where it’s most severe.
